The Johnson County Historical Society Museum is home to the Society’s more than 10,000 historic artifacts. The exhibits portray the diverse and vibrant heritage of the county, from the Meskwaki tribe and early settlers to contemporary times. The Community Room is available for event rentals.

The annual Barn Tour is a yearly staple for Johnson County natives in the know. Barns around northern Johnson County are on our list to explore and experience in full!
