2024 JCHS Barn Tour

After a four year hiatus, the Johnson County Historical Society is bringing back our beloved, Johnson County Barn Tour, sponsored by Hills Bank & Trust Company on August 3, 2024.
This year, the selection of barns we will explore in Johnson County include: Colony Acres Family Farm, the Schwab Round Barns, the Secrest 1883 Octagonal Barn and the Johnson County Historic Poor Farm. This is a backstage pass to hear about the history and future of
these unique places in Johnson County!
This half-day bus tour is $60 for Historical Society members and $65 for non-members. Transportation, lunch, and goodie bag is included in the price of the tour. To register or for more information, contact the Johnson County Historical Society at 319-569-4502 or jaci@johnsoncountyhistory.org.
Bus loading will start at 8:30AM and will depart at 9:00 AM from the Johnson County Historical Society’s Museum at the Xtream Arena, 200 E. 9th St. STE 101 in Coralville, Iowa.
